Description
In this 10-week hands-on figure sculpting workshop, artistry meets anatomy! Led by the talented Paige Wright, this class invites students of all levels, from beginners to seasoned artists, to delve into the world of figurative ceramics.
Students will learn a solid building technique, and focus on creating anatomically accurate components of the human figure, such as the face, hands, and feet. Paige will enrich your learning experience with engaging lectures and demonstrations, helping you to understand the fundamentals of figure sculpting in clay and how to embed these elements with unique personal narratives.
What’s Included:
- 10 Instructed Sessions, 2.5 hours each
- Material and Tools: Each student will receive 25 lbs of clay, 20 firing slips, and access to tools and our large selection of custom glazes.
- 24 free Open Studio Hours to Practice independently. Open Studio Hours are valid through the end of the 10 week course. Hours are redeemed in 2 hour “blocks”. Additional hours can be purchased at $20/2 hour block.
Open Studio Hours:
Thursdays, 5pm-9pm
Fridays, 4pm-8pm
Saturdays, 1pm-5pm
Sundays, 10am-2pm
