Description
Independent Study at Ulna studios, returning students only.
This special evening offering is for returning Ulna students who wish to continue their creative journey in a supportive, relaxed studio environment. Independent Study provides space and time to pursue your personal projects, explore new ideas, and develop your own artistic voice—alongside peers who share your dedication to art.
Work at your own pace in our familiar, well-equipped studio, surrounded by a small community of fellow artists. While there is no formal instruction, the space is rich with encouragement, and the motivation that comes from making art together.
Bring your own materials and projects—whether continuing a long-term series or diving into something entirely new.
Note: This offering is open exclusively to returning Ulna students. Non-instructed.
About the instructor: Cole is a painter and visual artist based in Portland Oregon. Nature is the biggest influence in Cole’s art especially now that natural disasters are ever increasing with climate change. Making observations, interpretations, and communicating the forms of nature that he thinks should be preserved and cherished is his goal. He wants to create excitement about preservation through visual interest by bringing the feelings and emotions associated in nature. Cole studied illustration at the Academy of Art in San Francisco and has a Bachelors of Arts in Art History from Portland State University.
