Description
Make your very own candlestick holder(s) in this hands-on workshop led by the talented Jess Faulk. This clay class is designed for participants of all skill levels, including complete beginners, and offers an opportunity to learn to build forms using a slab-building technique.
During the workshop, Jess will guide you step-by-step through the process of rolling out slabs, using a template, and constructing up to two candlesticks. You’ll not only learn some fundamental techniques of working with clay but also gain insights into the creative aspects of design and form.
All Supplies Provided. We take care of all the materials you need, so you can focus on learning and creating. After the workshop, Radius will fire and finish each piece with a clear glaze. This workshop is open to students ages 18 and up.
Bonus Additional Open Studio Session! It is best not to rush the drying process, so you will have the opportunity to return for a free Open Studio Session the next day or the following week to finish up independently. Choose one of the Open Studio timeslots:

Pickup of Finished Work: Your completed pieces will be ready for pickup from February 20th to March 16th during open studio hours. This allows time for the necessary multi-step firing and glazing process. Remember to mark your calendar for the pickup window, as we do not send out notifications. You can collect your pieces during our open hours: Thursdays 5-9 PM, Fridays 4-8 PM, Saturdays 1-5 PM, and Sundays 10 AM-2 PM.
