Try Your Hand at the Pottery Wheel!
Whether you’re curious about pottery, planning a fun date night, or organizing a small group activity, this one-time wheel workshop is the perfect way to experience the joy of throwing on the wheel. Led by the talented Jess Faulk, this session offers an introduction to the basics of wheel throwing in a fun and condensed experience.
What to Expect:
The workshop begins with a step-by-step demonstration from your instructor. Then, you’ll get hands-on experience as you create your very own piece on the wheel. If time allows, you may have the opportunity to make a second piece independently. At the end of the session, you’ll choose your favorite piece to keep, which we’ll fire and glaze for you. Finished pieces will be ready for pickup approximately one month later during our Open Hours.
This workshop lasts 1.5 hours, with an additional 30 minutes allocated for cleanup, so plan for a total of about 2 hours.
Important Details:
- Arrive On Time: The class kicks off with a demo at the scheduled start time. Arriving late may delay the session and limit your opportunity to make additional pieces.
- What to Bring: Wear clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting messy. Aprons are not provided. If you have long hair, please tie it back.
- Age Requirement: Workshops are open to participants aged 16 and older.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations must be requested at least 3 weeks prior to the workshop date for a refund or credit. Please note that a 10% processing fee applies to all refunds. Sorry, we cannot make exceptions to this policy.
