Monthly Membership

Are you a ceramics artist looking for a regular place to work? Consider becoming a Monthly Member at Radius Studio! Our three tiered membership model offers access options for artists ranging from hobbiests to more prolific makers.

Membership options are as follows, and based on availability:
*1 Shelf member (1/5 Metal Shelving Unit) $150/Month
*2.5 Shelf member (1/2 Metal Shelving Unit) $190/Month
*5 Shelf member (Full Metal Shelving Unit) $300/Month

What is included:

• 24/7 access to our 3,200 square foot studio and facilities.
• A dedicated personal storage space for materials and works in progress.
• Special Access to our Members Only Mezzanine. Monthly Members can work here even when classes are in session in the other workrooms. This space includes a sink, wheels, work tables, and a slab roller.
• Use of our 20+ in-house made glazes (included in the cost of firing).
• Have your work fired in our cone 6 electric or cone 10 gas kilns (firing fees apply).
• The opportunity to learn to fire kilns and fire your own work (become kiln certified with us to have full control of firing your pieces).
• Buy clay from us at our discounted prices.
• Access to our kitchenette, including mini fridge, hot water dispenser and tea station, ice machine, microwave, and shared snacks.
• Access to our library full of books and example pots to inspire your making!
• 10% off all Radius Workshops and in our Retail Shop.
• Opportunities to show and sell work. Vend at our markets and apply to sell your work in our shop or show in our gallery space.
• Community and connection! Meet and make with our 70+ other working artists, dedicated staff, skilled instructors, and cool crew of students.

Monthly memberships require an initial 6 month commitment. After the initial 6 months of membership, a 30 day cancellation notice is required.

How to apply for Monthly Membership: 

Applicants must have an understanding of the ceramic process from start to finish, including the glazing and the firing process. We require members to have a minimum of 12 weeks of clay instruction before applying to become a Monthly Member (instruction does not have to be from Radius).

All applications will be reviewed by Radius management. Monthly Membership spots are limited. We will reach out to applicants via email to schedule an in-person orientation when spots become available. The current wait time is approximately 3 months.
